Enchiridion brings dinosaurs, fossils, paleontology, prehistoric animals, evolution, and deep time to life through cinematic science documentaries.
I research, write, and edit the documentaries on this channel. The work is mostly reading: papers, monographs, and the arguments paleontologists are having with each other right now. The animation and the edit come last, and they exist to make the evidence legible — not to make an extinct animal look more frightening than the fossils support.

How these are made
Specimens before story
Every episode starts with what was actually dug up — the specimen, the locality, the paper it was described in. The story gets built to fit the bones. Not the other way round.
Disagreement stays in
When paleontologists disagree, the episode shows both readings and says which evidence supports each. An answer that isn't settled yet gets presented as unsettled.
Nothing invented
Reconstructions are labelled as reconstructions. No guess is ever presented as a finding, and no source is ever cited that wasn't read.
